Itinerary
Day 1 - Transfer day from Tirana Airport
Drive from Tirana airport to Saranda. The driving time: 4-5 hours ( depending on the traffic)
Accommodation in hotel ( apartment on request ) )
Suggestions about dinner, markets etc. ( early arrivals suggestions about the beaches )
Day 2. Butrint the ancient city, Ksamil and Lekursi castle.
Exploring day about the surrounding area and sightseeing. Visit at one of the most interesting archeological sites, a UNESCO site. History and nature in harmony is what you will enjoy during the walking visit for 2.5 hours.
After the visit, time to dive into the beautiful waters of the Ionian sea. Ksamil is one of the best destinations to visit. Free time at the beach. ( 4 hours )
On the way back a short photo stop at Lekursi castle to complete the general view of the area.
Back in Saranda around 17.00.
Day 3 - Boat day.
Full day in the boat. Exploring hidden and beautiful beaches: Krorez and Kakome.
Back in Saranda at 17.00- 17.30.
Day 4 - Gjirokaster, Blue Eye spring and raki tasting
The city of stone and the natural water springs are a must to be visited in South of Albania. On the way to Gjirokaster, we will stop for the visit at the springs and take time to explore the area. After we drive to Gjirokaster, visit the castle of Argjiro, one of the biggest ones and well preserved castles from XII - XIII century. Free time at the Bazaar for souvenirs and lunch.
On the way back the possibility to try local products: raki - the Albanian traditional drink and local wine, olive oil and other products.
Back in Sarande around 18.30
Day 5 - Transfer day to Tirana airport
