The tour starts from Sarande. Transport to the start point.
A walking tour of a part of the coast os South of Albania viewing Ionian Sea and Corfu Island on one side and Butrinti Lake on the other. A path that was well controlled by the army during the communist period and the building of the heavy artilery bunkers just in case of an attack from the sea.
A short stop to enjoy a coffee / refreshment drink in a small village bar with a georgeous view of the area.
The walk continue towards one of the oldes monasteries, St. George Monastery, that goes back in time during XVI -XVII century.
A well preserved monastery situated in a strategic position having one of the most beautiful view of the area.
Back in Sarande.
