The Archeological Butrint

Layers of different architecture influenced by from  Greeks, Romans, byzantine, Venetians and ottomans. One of the oldest cities built by Ilirians in South of Albania. 

An interesting visit in one of the most beautiful archaeological sites in South Albania. A Roman theater, the gymnasium, the Roman bath, the Baptistery, Gran Basilica, the ancient gates ( the Lake Gate and the Lion Gate) and at the end we visit the Venetian castle. Inside the castle the possibility to visit a very modest museum with objects found in the city during excavations in time.

Start point: Sarande ( pick up meeting point)
